SufiCaughtWreckMike also never went to war with the labels and licensed his music everywhere. Even videogames. Prince denied letting his songs used in movies and videogames. I remember when Guitar Hero was popping they wanted to give Prince a version. Prince told them, he'd rather kids actually learn the guitar and play his songs.
Let's look at the entire picture and not leave out details. If your parents were in their 20s and black in the 80s they had his discog. Obviously not all of them went radio but he got exposure whenever he wanted and fell back when he wanted.
This is just factually wrong and was a waste of your time for writing it and a waste of mine for having to read it
