It’s not even about the sound it’s just the stuff that Reddit type/hip hop Twitter lames hype. They tend to call things like Taboo, Atrocity Exhibition, and JID stuff classics, idk why. But when people say redditcore it’s not about the music being left field it’s more about the artist’s fan base

no i wasn't you just think that big artists having bigger subreddits than small ones means the main community of the site f***s with them more and you also don't understand that the big rapper subreddits are a different community to the main one people talk about

The RYM community is biased towards certain artists and that's that on that

No way Alfredo was easily much better than King's Disease (King's Disease is actually better)

Already addressed this when someone else said it. That argument assumes there’s no overlap between rapper sub posters and hhh posters.

That’s why I said earlier that y’all are basing it on reddit stereotypes and not the actual numbers

I don’t think they’re actually left-field, what’s actually non-mainstream about it? Posters/listeners just latch on to certain identities and aesthetics that buoy their own personalities

Redditcore is more about the stereotypes associated with the site than the music. Can be summed up with the "you wouldn't get it" Joker meme

If we're not talking hiphopheads then i think it's pretty hard to even define "reddit core" because reddit is kinda broad, there are hella communities and s***
