Slavery had been around here for a long time and then it wasn't... It still exists in some parts of the world and has been around much longer than capitalism... It doesn't matter that slavery wasn't always around in every single society.... Capitalism wasn't always around in every society either.

And you don't seem to grasp that if you're born into a certain system you are essentially FORCED to partake in that system if you want to survive... There are different types of force and them not being equal in application doesn't mean they're still not force.

Serfdom was better than slavery and obviously capitalism is better than feudalism.

The question is... Is there a better, more moral or ethical way we can do things or is this the best we can do.

A lot of small business owners (and entrepreneurs) are extremely narcissistic. I agree, sometimes their exploitation can be even more egregious - and it's honestly more disgusting because they'll exploit you to your face.
I know to the fortune 500 CEO I'm just a fraction of a number on a spreadsheet. To the small business owner, I'm "family", you see me everyday, and you still f*** me in the ass no lube.
