in some ways pauls boutique style of production is pretty much a total departure to that which they did before. rap rock is a style of rock music first and foremost
listen to Shake Your Rump or something and explain how that's a rock song

i was saying pauls boutique specifically because that was the departure from that part of their roots/early style. not saying they didnt do rock oriented stuff after that too but i think that other user wasnt accurate saying they are just totally a rap rock group
