ngl that boiler room set the only thing in music that has excited me since early August

i kept seeing threads on dude so i figured lemme hop in and its not mid...fairly decent but I don't see it.

i feel like if all those hxc electro heads viewed fred’s music more as electronic music w pop influence and not just electronic music they might understand the hype better.

the only reason they think fred is overrated is because his music isn’t genre defining boundary pushing electronic music/isn’t doing anything new but that’s not the reason why ppl f*** w him. he’s a pop producer so he knows how to make music that connects w the masses. your music doesn’t have to change the sound of a genre forever for it to be enjoyable.

I was one of those people that thought it was some KTT push narrative but his music is really good and refreshing idk how to explain it but he gives me the same feeling I had for music back in the early 2010s. Again, I can’t explain it but his music is a great escape for me
