2pac is my favorite rapper. I know every song he has ever made but I think there isn't any such thing has the greatest rapper. I do believe he is the greatest ⭐️ in hip hop. Every sport in the 🌎 has a greatest representative. Basketball(MJ)/Boxing(Ali/Mike Tyson)/Golf(Tiger Woods)/Baseball(Babe Ruth/Jackie Robinson). I do know that 2pac become great because of all the songs he left after his death. People started bootlegging his songs and noticed that he was great. Wondering that this guy is so gifted and talented. Some people who are great are sometimes misunderstood when they are alive. Some say he was a prophet/messenger.

Before rap music, we had Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop is culture man. Hip-Hop was a culture and a strong one at that. Today, Hip-Hop doesn't exist. Pac was the embodiment of Hip-Hop. Music, Intellect, Code speaking in music, Dances, lifestyle, Films, Arts, voice and impact.

Drop Pac in any era of Hip-Hop and he eats. Can't say that for every artist.

Greatest rap voice of all time, the definition of charisma, arguably the hiphop MJ of we’re talking about prolific iconic hits that transcend the genre, the most quotable rapper ever (doesn’t have the most quotables that’s different btw)

The epitome of the street rapper image, birthed an entire lane that rappers like Em/50/Ja etc thrived in. Plus he was a great poet with powerful social content

Also the first hiphop megastar to become an A list celeb as a rapper

I actually feel like over time, part of his image has been grossly overrated (the social conscious part) and his actual music has been grossly underrated.

Underrated rapper who’s image has almost made him a caricature of sorts. As if 2pac is all image with mid records and that to me is just wildly false

2 of Amerikaz most wanted is crazyyy

    I get around still slaps

Brenda’s got a baby is still a special record. As a nigga from the city I still get goosebumps listening to to live and die in LA. The first verse of me against the world is crazyyyy

He’s legit unrivaled for me. I even think half of his posthumous work is great. I broke it down for someone awhile back on here but

From the time he came out of jail until death he basically recorded
All eyez on me (2 albums)
    Makaveli (1 album)
Until the end of time (2 albums”
    Better dayz (2 albums)

And it’s all fire to me. That level of prolificness still hasn’t been topped

He was what 50 and Wayne were to the 2000s and Drake is to this generation. You could argue his talent (Biggie stans will say he was better) but he was at the top in his prime and iconic that's just a fact. I guess you could try and put X up there with them but I think I was just too old for his music

So when they say "greatest" thats more than just skill, more than just having a classic, more than the music. You had to change the culture and that is extremely hard not every legend accomplished that
