I just want to hear people's opinion.

Well (for me anyway) the way he was able to convey exactly what he was feeling through songs was unmatched. Like you can feel his sincerity on Keep Your Head Up, his anger on Hit Em Up, or his paranoia on Only God Can Judge me. It's like you're feeling how he felt when he when he recorded it.

I personally think he’s overrated. He was very contradicting as a person and a bit phony. His albums didn’t age well at all imo. And his rapping skills were extremely mediocre at times. He was a much better actor

  • Cause he died and people talk about it all the time in pop culture. People who don't even listen to rap know who he is. When people get asked for their top 5 oat they automatically included pac and big to not face backlash.

Before rap music, we had Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop is culture man. Hip-Hop was a culture and a strong one at that. Today, Hip-Hop doesn't exist. Pac was the embodiment of Hip-Hop. Music, Intellect, Code speaking in music, Dances, lifestyle, Films, Arts, voice and impact.

Drop Pac in any era of Hip-Hop and he eats. Can't say that for every artist.

Greatest rap voice of all time, the definition of charisma, arguably the hiphop MJ of we’re talking about prolific iconic hits that transcend the genre, the most quotable rapper ever (doesn’t have the most quotables that’s different btw)

The epitome of the street rapper image, birthed an entire lane that rappers like Em/50/Ja etc thrived in. Plus he was a great poet with powerful social content

Also the first hiphop megastar to become an A list celeb as a rapper

He was extremely contradictory and was celebrated for it. When other rappers do it they get called out. He doesn’t. Which isn’t fair. I’ll never see his hype. He wasn’t even the best mcee of his time. And let’s be honest he was a s*** starter for no reason

Look at the quality and subject matter of his biggest songs. Keep Ya Head Up, Brenda's got a baby, Changes, Dear Mama, ect. NOBODY is making hits while maintaining their ground in that way today. That alone made him special.

  • Jan 15, 2022

Because he actually had one of the greatest work ethics i ever seen and when you think rapper the first thing you think is pac, he’s the michael jackson of this rap s***
