2nd tier but he’s had way more hits than Cole has since FHD. Foh

That’s cool but that still doesn’t make him Big 3 material

Drake-Kendrick-Cole have been on top for so long not only because of music & impact but because no one has yet be on par with them lyrically after their generation

Lyricism in the mainstream died with Rocky

Luda didn't stay consistently relevant through the mid to late 2000s. So I get it

It's been cleared up cause he felt Luda was personally excluded from the list of rappers that Browser mentioned

Disagree but Future is more entertaining to listen to than Cole

And I say this as someone who doesn't think highly of Cole

  • Nov 8, 2024

“The Big 3” literally only exists for Drake, Kendrick and Cole and was only made during that specific time frame in the 2010s by whoever tf y’all need to stop

it wasn’t even a term used that much until recently either I feel like

Yeah, I responded with my point.

I think with Luda as soon as he cut his iconic Afro off. He lost his appeal and transition to Hollywood.

Yet they still consistent and are influential in Hip Hop. Shows that you don't always need a cosign

Tyler's recent output of music > Future's recent output of music

Future's been washed musically since 2018 but yall don't wanna have that convo

It's funny because there is a theory related to that. As soon as rappers cut off their trademark hair (Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, Redman, etc.) they start becoming irrelevant

I think it's that framing that sort of made people expect more of them. They got the simba juice on they heads. That said yeah it's way impressive that future & Tyler did it on his own, especially since Tyler single handedly brought back groups back in hip hop

    When did Redman cut?

Redman at one point used to rock an Afro. This was during the Dare Iz A Darkside era (Late 94 - Early 96) and then after he cut it people claim he fell off despite Muddy Waters being a classic and having his vintage fresh fade cut look.
