if you don't believe some of the people in that list (em and jay elec specifically) don't have cringey/filler lines I really dont think you a fan like that

Late stage Em got cringey i should clarify i almost always referencing 1999-02 em thats honestly pretty much all ive sat and gave a real listen outside of sparse songs from the sober projects

Im just saying Ye has hella lines where he definitely just said one thing and filled in the blank next line without really thinking hard. In a way he almost innovated that Future/Thug/Baby/Carti style of writing where it’s different from hov writing a whole verse in his head lol

I'd consider him in the conversation, but the two major factors I'd say are

1) he blew up after Drake/Cole/Kendrick, who feel like they all blew up around the same time

2) he lacks the technical rapping ability the three have. He's kinda in a completely different lane

There really is no definition of the big 3, they're just the 3 guys from the blog era with the biggest and loudest fanbases. Kind of a right place right time kind of thing

The idea that you can remove/replace any one of them is something that needs to be retired. It's kinda like how the big 3 of anime is/was Naruto, One Piece and Bleach. They were the 3 most successful and impactful animes at the time, all with varying levels of global appeal. You can't bring up another popular anime from the mid 2010s and replace it with like Bleach for instance. Doesn't work that way.

Future/Travis/Tyler/etc will never be a part of that trio and that's okay. Doesn't take away from their success and anything they've accomplished.

No they had this weird marketing gimmick for the big 3 as like the heart the mind the soul and somebody tried calling logic the spirit for a short time and that went around for a little little while and thankfully didn’t catch on
