i feel that many current none voting progressives feel that their party often times gives in to Republicans much more than Republicans give in to Democrats.

The party has constantly moved left over the years as progressives have pressured them to. They are just completely uncompromising.
A lot of leftists just have an unrealistic vision of changing things over night.

It’s not you’re still standing for a movement. Voting third party is much better then not voting at all. If a 3rd party candidate gets 5% they’d start to get major federal benefits which could lead to a third party becoming a serious force

If we’re being honest, the difference between Bernie’s platform and Biden’s is not that great. People are just tripping over themselves with purity tests.
