There's a war on flavored vapes in the westoid world for some reason

vapes look so nerdy compared to cigs tho .... sigh

  • I’m not a smoker and I’m not really a fan of cigarettes/nicotine, but I agree with you OP. I think it’s partial to how it was pushed and (from what I can recall) actually said to give benefits back in the day, just to find out a lot of what was being said was deceptive. My anecdote though is my grandfather is 80+ and smokes tobacco out of a pipe to this day, and he’s probably healthier than anyone around his age that I’ve ever seen personally so idk

    All tru brother

Inter generational bullshyt def a part

    Thing is

These flavord vapes were used by people who wanna get off cigs as well

Banning flavored vapes was shown to increase cig use bc of that

So why we going stoopid vro

That I agree. It's a double edge sword. We just don't know if it's helping more instead of harming. 10 years down the line we will know.

Caffeine can also have negative cardiovascular affects not to mention mental and sleep wise

not wrong. and i meant to add that i am more so speaking from the user side, and why users themselves put a more negative view of themselves using nic compared to alc. why the govt is choosing to crack down on one addictive and possibly dangerous thing and not the other is beyond me.

But alcohol is also a gateway d***

    Why not ban alcohol

I feel like almost all arguments used against nic/vapes can be used against other substances but people don't do it

  • Jul 5, 2022

Feel like governments just doing this to make people feel like they doing stuff for em like there's not more pressing issues rn lol

  • Jul 5, 2022

hate smokers and hate cigarettes. smoked my last one in 9th grade and never looked back. f***ed with nicotine-free vapes for a year or two and my lungs were not happy

started getting those dreams of smoking in the last year or so, like straight up craving it in my sleep. its weird and I wonder what that might be

  • Jul 5, 2022

alcohol can go but thats not gonna happen

well yea i know it is. the last time they tried banning alcohol w prohibition it ended up biting them in the ass and just was a whole disaster, but that was like 100 years ago so idk

they already tried once and they know it isn’t gonna work

  • Jul 5, 2022

the amount of ladies that use nic now a days is the really crazy thing to me. it may not have even really went up % wise, and im not saying there is some sort of line in the sand between men and woman and how they both differ in substance abuse, i just find it wild so many ladies are hooked on vapes is all.

In UK idk if it's that demonised. Cigarettes is for sure but vaping is normalised asf here at least. You can do em in some bars/pubs, they're recommended to help quit smoking, saw reports even maybe the NHS will prescribe them

There's some concerns over how much kids use them I think that's the main issue and it's a fair one.

I do know what u mean bout the hysteria over vaping like I do think that's a loud minority tho

Also the argument that we don't know everything abt vapes i heard before, might be a point to that

But how much evidence is there that there's possible negative effects, ofc everything that's not fresh air is gonna be less than ideal, but how bad are the suspected negative effects and how much evidence is there for it compared to them illuminati chemicals they putting in our food and what not that don't have a lot of research done on them

I'm open to being wrong...... I'm just NOOTICING

  • Jul 5, 2022

Idk but ppl that vape all look like such dorks, if ur gonna get a crippling nicotine addiction at least look sexy while doing it.

i don’t think it will 100%, like disposables are still fruit flavored and all that but not ones w juice/cartridges in some states, so idk what’s going on there. hell i don’t think law will last long anyway to be completely honest.
