As for the dangers/health issues being passed around by media articles and such, i would take those with a grain of salt

When Juul first blew up in the states, there was tons of media stories about kids going to hospital because of vape pens and "contaminated cartridges", and they would flash pics of juul devices behind gas station counters during it.

What they didnt say was that those people were buying sketchy secondhand/knock off pods that are easily available on the internet, and many of them werent even nicotine pods, they were "THC" vape pods sold by similar knockoff/sketchy places.

When its been shown in research that the effect of cigarettes, the vastly more dangerous tobacco product, on someones lungs can be almost totally reversed if the person quits by age 35 (male) or 45 (female), and the majority of cigarette users dont begin developing cancers or other smoking related diseases until after they've been using cigarettes for 3-5 decades.

So how in the hell is there already all of these novel "illnesses" related to vaping being passed around the social water cooler? Haha. If these things were something of a serious concern and not extremely rare incidents (or results of faulty or knockoff products), then we would see them taking the UK population by storm first, since they've gotten such a long headstart on vaping. But we haven't seen that at all.

Watching people smoke a pack of cigarettes every weeknight at the library or buying two packs of cigarettes saturday night downtown and smoking them all was an extremely common thing to see.

And again, even if younger people are vaping more than they would be smoking cigarettes, it is still the much better option.
