Y’all are fr oldheads if you don’t think soundcloud era was incredible and changed music for the better
How old are you? Like I said I'm 23. Almost 24. When that era was popping I was 18-21. That's where the age collides with the music.
Repetitive ass music
It all depends on what you were listening too. If you were listening to Peep and Tracy and all the emo s***. It was never repetitive. But if you bumped X or Carti i can see why you say that
I liked X and he had some great potential but his fans have some of the most embarrassing opinions on the internet
Way more derivative trash than great music and little to no iconic projects. Not even a top 3-5 era of rap music let alone music as a whole
Hellboy by Lil Peep one of the only classic PROJECT to come from this era. A few of the Black Kray tapes too

Hellboy and crybaby >>>
I’ll never forget that first listen of either
Alot of yall weren't REALLY invested in the SC scene so yall wouldn't know. Like Uzi and Carti were way past soundcloud by 2016. Talk about the Black Krays, the CHXPOs, the Lil Peep & Tracys. 2016-18 wasn't definitively the Soundcloud era anyway
i never liked x tbh, the guy was the man reason i stopped caring. Like he wasn't a good producer, he wasn't great rapper and his singing went from okay to garbage. Then his stans hail him as the best thing ever and it was total turn off for me
the stuff he made during his soundcloud era was good. When he went mainstream it got trash
