Nah im not doing this as like a boomer thing but like people are actually getting more narcissistic according to research and it makes sense imo
Not a boomer thing more a capitalism influencing culture thing, especially with social media now

Here we go lol
Im not a boomer lmao zoomers top 1 gen imo they're great, it's not even a zoomer exclusive thing, we've all become more narcissistic, zoomers just happen to be influenced the most since they were born in this increasingly narcissistic culture, having it influence them during their formative years
Narcissism being on the rise is not some boomer theory there's actual empirical research done on it (also the influence of capitalism on this change): ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5783345
we learned how to be mean online and not irl so no one knows how to fight. people talk brave online and hide that persona irl by being p**** af
And it's not like I'm blaming zoomers for this, they didn't create this culture, but they did have to grow up in it unfortunately
Another thing is more people don't want to improve on their flaws and just accept it. "Yeah I can be rude but that's just who I am "
i keep getting stuck in between the idea the this generation coming through are a lost cause or im just getting old and these people are still maturing
cyber bullying and the profilization of identity accentuated man's natural prejudiceness and narcissism. passive aggression is a cathartic mechanism for resentment and superiority
however who knows we can only ever speak for our generation and no others. impossible to say if it was really ever any different. although i feel like it has a lot to do with pc culture and its catalyzation of peoples facades
I think we poisoning outselves. In like every possible level and dimension.
Known it for a min but really starting to feel it lately. I’m in pain fr lol
narcissism and the feeling of "being right" tbh. its the same for moral indignation in political discourse imo
Because the primary form of communication for a lot of people are emojis and lame acronyms that are used way out of context. People feel they don't have to deal with people and it's hard to blame them. Technology has created endless layers between people and that without discipline results in some ugly ish
CLB cover art is pretty amazing honestly if you think about it for more than thirty seconds. The duality of it is what impresses me the most. On the one hand, it’s just simple emojis. Seems very low effort. But this is Drake saying that he wants the music to speak for itself first and foremost. He doesn’t need gimmicks, theatrics, or controversy. Unlike some people. Music comes number 1, as it should.
But a second glance also reveals a striking complexity. The use of emojis is Drake commenting on how the digital age has reduced complex emotions and difficult conversations previously held and expressed in person to simple images, emojis. We’ve become brain dead consumers, whose thought has been reduced by corporations to the lowest common denominators that could never possibly capture the full intricacy of our individual thoughts and feelings.
Corporations like Apple attempt to homogenize us into simple unquestioning sacks of flesh, capable of only communicating through grunts in the form of emojis, not much different than our Neanderthal progenitors. This breeds a knuckle dragging populace incapable of thinking critically about the role technology plays in keeping us under heel and subservient to our corporate overlords. Drake invites us to ponder this.
I think he’s also asking us to reflect on the burden women are forced to carry in our society, and how this burden is further complicated by the intersectional oppressions of race and gender, hence the beautiful diversity of women showcased through this art.
Drake effectively makes a statement while simultaneously asking very hard questions about our postmodern society.
Lot of y’all nigga p**** no lie just talk to ppl take it on the chin
i f*** with the hook avi
Well it's a flawed response imo bc they don't address the research done in germany, where all the factors are essentially the same besides the economic model
The samples of african respondents is going to be biased because the participants will overwhelmingly be upper class
And idk where you're getting from that im ignoring the good sides of zoomers, i think zoomers are great and all of those positive things that you said about them are true like being open abt mental health etc, but that doesn't mean that the conditions they were raised in were perfect and didn't have an effect on them
yeah i see it as like a development in the culture
like how some cultures/languages are direct/indirect, i think they’re just evolving
