she's a lot more successful than people really give her credit for. the way this site talks about tinashe you'd think she ended up like black rob basically blacklisted and completely f***ed over. the only thing she really doesnt have is high sales/charting. besides that her career is pretty big. the only reason she isn't "bigger" in terms of sales really just comes down to label marketing and luck, other than that she's really successful especially compared to the average longer term contemporary career within the industry

album sales arent everything in a career, even if theyre incredibly low. there's artists who sell way less, like in the hundreds who still make enough money to work full time as a music artist. i'm sure she gets most of her money from touring, merch, and industry collabs like ghostwriting or something. all you really have to do is tour once a year and come close to selling out a few shows and with a small team thats enough money to keep you going for awhile, especially if you aren't signing to a label. not everything needs to be tens of millions to be successful.
