Dude I feel like one of the biggest problems is that these young guys are only making music for other young people. This creates a problem where all of them are only known within a certain age group instead of not realizing that they could be superstars if they made music for everyone.

The difference is Em earned his stripes in an era where you really had to show out. Whatever those initial comments were died down because he was that undeniable, and his upbringing brought him some legitimacy. Even if we're talking from a perception standpoint, the comparison doesn't stack up in the least bit.
