The Weeknd is my favorite artist because I found his music at the lowest point in my life, I mean absolute rock bottom. Though some of his music wasn’t very relatable to me at the time, I feel like it filled a void in me on some non corny s***. Wicked Games was the first song I had heard by him and at that time he had already released Kissland so I immediately went and listened to every bit of his music I could find. Everytime I was super down feeling done with life I would turn on Trilogy or Kissland and just sit with my thoughts while the music played and I feel like the whole sound of his music fit so well with how I felt inside it just clicked with me and I’ve never felt that way with an artist before, his music really helped me through some really rough s*** and from that day on no artist is on the same level in my opinion. After Hours brought back all the same vibes I had when I first discovered him and I really admire that while he’s trying to expand his sound, he can still bring the old vibe back whenever he chooses. At one point his music literally saved my life and I don’t think I’ll ever treasure another artist as much as I do Abel

    Kate Bush

From a young age she changed the landscape of pop music with her unique vocals, vivid lyrics & eccentric live performances. Decades later and there's still no one quite like her.

    Nas:

    • Makes being a lyricist cool and accessible
    • Puts his all into his music, like you can hear the passion and sincerity in his voice
    • Has the best album OAT that never ever gets old. Every time I listen I take something new and different from it
    • Has a massive catalog that goes deep. There are songs for every mood
    • I like the way he carries himself, the way he thinks, generally find him agreeable
    • Has a fascinating life story that can be turned into a classic biography and movie
