They were a special part of that wave due to their pop sensibilities. yeah it was different, but there was alr pieces of what they did in the mainstream. Plus, everyone thought uzi would fade in not too much time.. yeat has alr proved himself, ken carson is huge, destroy lonely is huge. That soundcloud era is like one of the few eras that was that commercially sucessful, usually the underground has a few really big artists and mostly stays underground. But autumn still has big hits, summrs, baby keem was at some point in the trap underground. People forget how the soundcloud wave was perceived back then, people over like 21 didnt like it at all it had very mixed reception and a lot were perceived as short lived copies of each other making bullshit till 2018.
