'appropriating our music and culture'... this is just so superficial. if he likes the sound of it and vibes well with pharrell and timbo..what's wrong with that? literally every white pop star has worked with a rap/r&b act at one point in their career..this goes back to the 80s..damn
Not even Don't Hold the Wall or Spaceship Coupe? That's a shame. Part 1 as a whole was very good.
might have to give it another spin, it was almost 8 years ago
he dropped inescapable soccer mom dance music right before it. but more importantly the album just wasn't good.
Man of the Woods had some joints on there. Filthy, Montana, Midnight Summer Jam, Breeze off the Pond were good.
wave and montana

tbh he did have braids and all
it’s just the factor that he looked like that and but then he did janet dirty and was like yeah im not taking the fall for her
ig? what you think @DonutHole
filthy is soo bad it circles into hilarity
it's one of those songs you play to piss off the people around you
-Justin not having Janet's back when the heat was on her, Justin gets to perform at the Super Bowl again and Janet will likely never be allowed to perform on that stage again
-The Jesse Williams awards speech tweet that came off as All Lives Matters to people
-Beefing with Prince while he was alive and having an album release party at Prince's estate and using Prince in his Super Bowl performance
-The rollout making it look like Justin was dropping a country album. People already feel like he used black music to get hot as a solo act so it came off like Miley abandoning rap culture to social media
-His music was already on the decline post the first part of The 20/20 Experience
It was a storm that all came together complete with the album being a dud
wait dude really had a listening party at paisley park AFTER princes death?
Pack this man outta here for life
Because it’s c***central here on KTT
y'all does it make you a cracker if you did not like justin timberlake's recent album?

it sounds like he was trying hard to find another 'new' sound like in 2005 when they created sexyback. only difference is that sexyback made perfect sense back then and it was groovy and well written weheres as Filthy was too slow and just didn't make people wanna dance. also the sound had shifted significantly and filthy was too alien amid the 2018 landscape.
It was a combination of people finally giving a s*** about the Janet Jackson Superbowl incident on Twitter (because he was returning for the superbowl halftime show by himself in 2018), and the music being NOT GOOD. Or atleast not as good as Justified, F/S & 2020 Pt. 1.
man what...
it's the way he turns off that weird faux blaccent when ellen starts talking directly to him like ???
