K dot will drop on streaming first and a lot of people will give him props

  • He knows it won't dethrone Like That off of #1

Because it’ll instantly put him up in an objective, unarguable, data-lead sales race against Like That. He’ll have to go #1 and if he doesn’t, the numbers and sales guy will have lost to a song by the guys he’s beefing with, and to a song that directly calling him out. He has too much to lose.

Easier to just send it to akademiks and letter twitter blue tick rap pages post it because (as shown) everyone will hear it regardless + he is bypassing having to compete on a front other than strictly the bars/disses. Literally no downside. Also helps that that song is undeniably a great response.

    the real question is,

will kdot response be on streaming? Or since drake took it "to the streets" so to speak, will it be seen as silly to put it on streaming?

I saw somewhere that it samples Biggie's What's Beef?

If that's the case there's no chance he'll get sample clearance from the family, esp given the subject matter. I believe Pusha already talked about that with Exodus 23:1. That's the reason for that song never being on DSPs.

Prob trepiditious that s*** wont go #1. That'd give Kenny more undue myside bias moving forward (since Like That is still #1 on BB100)
