if its hard to the fans thats all that matters i guess

i can legit go to any artist and find something hard

but what stimulates the mind and makes you more involved with the music is how different it sounds. What's new to songs like greece or any other song drake has released in the past 2 to 3 years? Drake is a hit maker, a bad one at that, but it doesnt matter to him because niggas eat what they are served. I listened to greece twice and never listened to it again. I grew up listening to drake but every year and every song he keeps on releasing has made me realize that he's not the type to experiment. He doesn't even like conceptual albums. That's fair but I wont be listening to half of his catalog if he continues to do so. It's about longevity...

Kanye and Drake have vastly different careers and different aims

Drake is one of the most commercially successful artists in music history

Kanye is one of the most influential artists in Music history

Kanye’s enjoyed chart success and Drakes had influence

But for the most part you can’t be on Drakes level of commercial success and make groundbreaking left field music that’s gonna change the landscape

And you can’t be in Kanye’s position and have mind boggling chart success

They both do different things

Let’s appreciate them both for what they are instead of calling them out for what they’re not
