  • Aug 14, 2020

He is ground breaking, didnt you hear him whispering in 2018? Hes a Creative genius

  • Aug 14, 2020

I love how you inserted JIK there

  • Aug 14, 2020

    something we can agree on

  • Aug 14, 2020

Drake said something interesting in his Rapradar interview along the lines of he has to appeal to too large of a fanbase to make something super concise. He also mentioned he has no intention on retiring from music but he understands his run will end at somepoint

So in my opinion he'll probably make more challenging music when he falls off and accepts it.

Imagine not understanding how much of a treasure both Kanye and Drake are to the hip hop world tho

    safe

Kanye and Drake have vastly different careers and different aims

Drake is one of the most commercially successful artists in music history

Kanye is one of the most influential artists in Music history

Kanye’s enjoyed chart success and Drakes had influence

But for the most part you can’t be on Drakes level of commercial success and make groundbreaking left field music that’s gonna change the landscape

And you can’t be in Kanye’s position and have mind boggling chart success

    They both do different things

Let’s appreciate them both for what they are instead of calling them out for what they’re not

  • Aug 14, 2020

    Probably not tbh

    More to come

Drake stans always fuming. I’m just speaking facts.

    "You look at Kanye West"

  • Aug 14, 2020

You drake stans are too bum hurt to see the truth tho.

Reason why I mentioned JIK is to show the diversity in Ye’s career.

While Drake from Views to now. Everything sounds the same. He’s so boring.

Just wanted you Drake stans to know that Drake isn’t this musical genius. He’s no Kendrick, and he’ll never be on Ye’s level.

drake will not make groundbreaking music because he's not trying to. it's clear he cares more about commercial success than acclaim. however, i will say that saying drake has "only made the same music since views" is just not true. Controlla & One Dance, War, God's Plan, In My Feelings & Nice For What, Chicago Freestyle, Look Alive are all very drastically different stylistically. he hops sounds a lot, he just doesn't innovate in them. if he was only doing one sound since his career began he wouldn't still be this relevant.
