It's trash, but I don't think it's realistic to forbid your kids social media in this day and age.

religion has spent thousands of years being workshopped into an excellent framework to raise a child in. for example, the catholic holy trinity serves as a really useful guideline for a mother, father, and child relationship. even the religions without such a clear a***ogy for parenthood still provide a moral framework and encourage personal growth and discipline.

now, I'm not saying people should follow strict moral frameworks. If anything, following any framework too closely is generally a bad thing for adults to do. However, for a child, it can be so useful. I think the child who is raised within a framework and breaks out of said framework as an adolescent is put in a great position to learn about life, plus they'll understand discipline and have some concept of spiritual knowledge. much better than going from no framework as a kid to no framework as an adult... that's how we got f***ing millennials
