The age of access to these apps and how much time is spent is the problem.

Feel like a lot of that is changing and is very specific to certain churches, which is usually based on the preachers which draws a crowd that connects with that outdated message. There’s even a lot of young influencer preachers who push that outdated message (Jackie Hill Perry)

I don’t really experience that in the multiple churches I’ve attended who are Protestant, Methodist or Pentecostal. It’s mainly just what I said and they avoid alienating sermons

if my mom were asked this 25 years ago, it doesn't matter how she answered. i did it anyway. they will do it anyway. and if she really tried super hard to make sure it didn't, i would probably have resented her for being controlling. if i had a choice, my kids def are not using tik tok. but where there's a will, there's a way and i definitely would not be an authoritarian dad
