I feel like his career began again after this one, myself was a big Drake hater before IYRTITL, mostly because of 2 reasons:

1 his simp music was terrible and most people outgrown it

2 he was corny when trying to be "hard"

But then IYRTITL changed both aspects, with exception of NWTS which is a great album even with the simping and s***

I think what you meant to say was IYRTITL was a great re-invention move. It successfully showed Drake did not need to rely on singing and could be compared to the rappers he was next to that fully did Rap.
