So I bank with Chime and I woke up today and realized someone transferred all my money from my savings to checkings and then transferred it to some account under the name "Lakedia B".

I have already called my bank and am filing a police report rn but am still freaking out. I had to call out of work today to deal with all this and since I usually lyft to work and I had zero dollars in my account to make it.

My bank said it will take up to 10 days for a provisional credit in full but then up to another 45 days for the case to be resolved in whole. The police said their was really not much they could do, but I filed a report so I had one to show my bank.

I'd busting my ass, working nonstop since I got my new job in June and feel totally deflated rn. I broke down this morning when i found out but now i just feel numb. Feels like I can never catch a break in life man. Just needed to vent f*** man, even though im fairly certain ill get my money back I hate the uncertainty of it all for the next week or so.

IDk what chime is but most banks are good about stuff like this. Would not recommend banking with an app/startup like that tho

See the worst part about it all is I don't even know where I f***ed up exactly which would help to prevent this from ever happening.

Once this is resolved I am 100% switching to chase or bank of america like you said. Chime has been good with me in the past though with a previous dispute so we'll see if they are able to help again
