I have already called my bank and am filing a police report rn but am still freaking out. I had to call out of work today to deal with all this and since I usually lyft to work and I had zero dollars in my account to make it.
My bank said it will take up to 10 days for a provisional credit in full but then up to another 45 days for the case to be resolved in whole. The police said their was really not much they could do, but I filed a report so I had one to show my bank.
I'd busting my ass, working nonstop since I got my new job in June and feel totally deflated rn. I broke down this morning when i found out but now i just feel numb. Feels like I can never catch a break in life man. Just needed to vent f*** man, even though im fairly certain ill get my money back I hate the uncertainty of it all for the next week or so.
Usually banks are covered if your bank is “fdic insured” dont even trip youre federally insured.
Edit: im wrong that doesnt cover your for stolen account

Usually banks are covered if your bank is “fdic insured” dont even trip youre federally insured.
Edit: im wrong that doesnt cover your for stolen account
Yeah chime is FDIC insured so I’m not too worried

for example, i tried logging into my bank account while connected to a vpn, and it kept saying i put in my password wrong even tho i knew i was inputting it correctly
realized i was connected to a vpn, disconnected from it, tried again and it worked but it required extra verification one time after that
was surprised at how that worked
