I did the first two already, too too hard. We are back!
been getting micromanaged like a mutherfucker by this new boss of mine. can't stand this s***.
Whats yall thoughts on a commission based job? Found an opportunity and it seems people are consistently making 70k or more. A big bump from where I’m currently at. But commisison naturally seems risky.

f*** that, i would not want my income to be dependent on other people, unnecessary stress.

I feel that, the way the business model is set up makes it seem like the sales are mostly certain tho, like the customers have a consultation and go over what service they want before I show up, and then I make the sale the same day. It’s interior/cabinet design. I’ll definitely ask some questions about it when I have the interview and ponder it later. I’ll be making over twice my current income if I made the “lower end” of sales according to the guy, which could be bullshit but glassdoor makes it seem like people are making comfortable wages.
will never get over the fact that I went from a TM who had a check in maybe once a month MAX and only lasted 5 min basically saying if there was anything he could help with to a hovering ass TM who was just moved to a management role for the first time so they feel the need to micromanage and schedule 3 one hour syncs WEEKLY
also not sure what to do and got put in a s***ty spot. I have a really good TC and was brought on as a business a***yst. In the role, my expectation was to do user stories, product documentation, and roadmap stuff. About 3 months later, they laid off half the company and eliminated the scrum master role. They also downsized our QA teams. As a result, they gave all the scrum master responsibilities to my role and I’m now expected to do technical writing and manual testing. Same comp. The excuse when I try to pushback is “well every other BA had to make the same shift and this is actually more helpful”
