I need a death note to write names of whoever working on this project ASAP

A group of public health advocates from around the world wants Facebook to scrap its plans to launch a version of Instagram for children.
A letter from the Campaign for a Commercial-free Childhood, signed by 99 groups and individuals, claims the "image-obsessed" platform is dangerous for children's health and privacy.
Plans for an Instagram for under-13s have been mooted in recent weeks.
Facebook, which owns Instagram, said it would be "managed by parents".

Imagine being a kid and seeing a kid influencer with all the toys you want which they received for free but you have no way of knowing that.

Instagram is like 99% fitness girls showing their ass cheeks off in yoga pants

If I had a kid i would rather them be on a dedicated kids app than looking at that

This already exists. You see these cars? Your parents don't love you enough to buy these.

This will backfire horribly on so many levels and why have an IG app for kids?

Just don't let your kid have access to the adult one

Apparently that’s what they’re trying to address with this. Kids can just lie about their age to sign up. We’ve all done it at some point.

Ofc, but creating a whole new app for them is worse, it's only gonna make kids more insecure at a younger age and possibly be invaded by pedos and s***traffickers

I can see this exploitable (security aspect)

Dude are you freaking kidding me!? This is not gonna end well at all
