If they have collision comp and medical for themselves then you are correct but many just get the state minimums which often only cover the clmt if they’re at fault. But IF theyre well covered then yes you’re actually right the only thing they have to worry about is their premiums being effected

But they need to be insd to even secure coverage for themselves in the first place meaning it’s not a scam even if it’s expensive

Funny thing about insurance is they’re fine taking your money for years without incident but the moment you actually need to use it it’s like the biggest hassle to them.

Nah they don’t offer auto either. If you go to their website for a quote they’ll tell you they’re not offering any in the state.

It may be you have to find a local agent though so, maybe they’re just making it more difficult. CA isn’t letting insurance companies hike up rates so they’re either offering outrageous from the jump, pulling out or making it more difficult.

I read about somebody who did that s*** and they were saving about $20 a month personally I don’t think that’s worth the constant surveillance

First one was in 2017 because I was driving in an unfamiliar area at night, and a double lane road merged into one lane so I was slightly in the shoulder for half of a second — lucky day, state trooper behind me gives me careless driving
