No Church, Gotta Have It, NIP, New Day, Why I Love You, The Joy, Primetime, Illest, Otis, MURDER TO EXCELLENCE I mean s*** album is probably underrated
Also it didnt "come out of nowhere" when it dropped. It was the most anticipated album at the time and was the first big rap album not to leak and actually come out entirely on time. Will never forget where I was when the clock hit midnight and I could finally hit play. Its MBDTF2 with Jay on it

Nah I’m old enough to fully experience that era. I wasn’t a surprise drop in a sense it came out of nowhere like that Beyonce album did. But a collab album of that magnitude wasn’t done before, it was a ton of hype (shock value) off that. That part of leading up to the release is blurry in my memory.
