Like forreal, is WTT really revered in the same breath like Blueprint, TBA, LR etc?

    I don’t think so

the knock on the album was always it wasn’t Jay at his best nor Kanye at his best

Kanye was definitely at his best. This is peak Kanye MBDTF-WTT. He out raps Jay on more than half the songs

How can it be a classic when both aren’t at their best? This isn’t just a Kanye album.

True, that’s why I feel The Joy is the best track on the album because they both went in that one.

Imo no track on WTT even comes close to Diamonds From Sierra Leone

I mean is Jay that bad to y'all on this album? lol but yes, it is "just a Kanye album" imo cause no other Jay album sounds like this and this sounds basically like a continuation of MBDTF. It was Kanye's moment, Jay is known for being a very opportunistic businessman and he hopped on the wave.

KTT is literally the only place where I see WTT slander.

Bruno wrote it so it’s obviously the most pop song on it

Damn didn’t know this, that’s cool

Jay wasn’t that bad at all, his verse last verse on Why I Love You is one of his most slept on verses ever.

“Caesar didn’t see it so he ceased to exist,
So the nigga that killed him had keys to his s***”

I know you’re a Kanye stan so you are clearly looking at WTT from that lens. The average hip hop fan will see this as a collab album.
