Having to buy a disc drive separately is the future of console gaming. Sony doing it. Microsoft will do it. And who knows what Nintendo is doing but if they keeping portability, they will probably stick to cartridges cause those have a low profile on the system

basically new games are too expensive to really keep up. imagining someone buying all the hits of just this year thats like a thousand dollars easy

Sep 19, 2023HaroldsChickenI mean a series s being 150$ and so portable makes sense to get in peoples homes those that dont care about 4k 60fps and be a gamepass machine. Now finally with support of the cloud and machine learning. That is a much lower barrier to entry than 400$
Literally why I bought one, I already got the PS5 for all the 4K 60FPS stuff

This is a redesign of the current console. Same specs.
Ps5 doing same thing. All digital new main console with disk attachment sold separately.
