i listened to it once and once only and knew it was his best album in a long time probably his best since trilogy snd i love all of weeknds music im just not tryna listen to him atm

That’s cool. Good luck for when you listen again!

  • Enjoyed both but the highs on $$$ better than HUT

  • A snoozer vs a deceleration of freedom and love. I’ll let you be the one to decide.

    dawg

I fw alot of songs on The Weeknd album.

Could have just been fine with a pnd tape fr. Drake is just being sassy. Feel like pond just outshines him on a lot of the songs they had

I like this general consensus lately that Drake is a sassy little tabby cat

  • Weeknd still got AOTY

  • Not sure how anyone over the age of 20 can listen to both of these albums and say HUT is better

  • Pretty Flacco

At this point Abel hate just seems forced. Oh, you can’t fathom and/or admit that someone who has achieved pop stardom can make a critically-acclaimed level of quality album?

    Grow up.

  • Shady Ant

I always get so sad when I see people not liking what I like :(
No shade, of course, but I just don’t understand how HUT didnt blow everyone away

It’s not bad by any means, it’s just not close to $$$ in any way

  • Ryuka

    hut came and went definition

one is the same “R&B” we been getting for a decade now

the other can’t settle on an aesthetic

i prefer the one with an actual singer lmao

    HURRY UP THOM

You seriously think $ome $exy $ongs 4 U is better than Hurry Up Tomorrow? That’s not just a bad take—it’s an intellectual failure. Your taste in music is so offensively shallow it should come with a parental advisory label. The fact that you can listen to whatever half-hearted, algorithm-optimized, recycled melodies Drake half-mumbled into existence and think, yeah, this is better than The Weeknd’s cinematic, soul-crushing, genre-bending masterpiece makes me question everything about you.

Are you allergic to artistry? Does the idea of a cohesive, emotionally resonant album offend you? Hurry Up Tomorrow was a journey—an odyssey through heartbreak, excess, and self-destruction wrapped in flawless production. Meanwhile, Drake’s latest attempt at “music” sounds like he recorded it on his phone between mediocre Instagram captions.

The fact that you even made this comparison tells me you probably think microwaved gas station sushi is better than a five-course meal. You probably read the first page of a book and consider yourself an intellectual. You’re the type of person who claps when the plane lands. I’m not even mad at you—I’m just disappointed that you exist in a world where you can stream music freely and still choose to be this wrong.

    Do better.

Let me know if you need it even more scathing—I can turn up the heat.

HUT but it's pretty close. But one is the final album of The Weeknd while the other one is a lil collab album with PND. Different budget, different effort etc.

    Both got some absolute gems

ur a clown for saying its close

  • $$$ obviously

HUT easily. This quality of this album is way better than $$$

  • surprised at how civil the thread is

  • $$$ clears not only HUT (I think it was a good album not hating) but also GNX

  • The Weeknd is an actual artist that takes his time to craft a project

While Drake just throws s*** to the wall hoping something sticks
