Peep was far more influential to the genre than X ever was. X didn’t have publications like Pitchfork calling him the “future of emo rap”, Peep was in GBC which pretty much invented emo rap before he ever joined, etc. i can keep going btw. just cuz someone is less popular does not mean they were less influential/important to their genre.
