Nah OP is right he absolutely was

It doesn’t matter if you liked the music - with people who are genrebending like he was it’s easy to hate some of the first artists to push it that way

From a numbers perspective though he was rising unbelievably rapidly, he had an incredible ear for melody and he had artistic drive

Juice WRLD was another one who was clearly on his way to that level
