zeniramaI’m not saying everyone who didn’t like X music was pretentious but there are a high amount of pretentious people who dismiss his music. He got more support from actual rappers and singers and important figures within the industry than pretty much anyone else, even from Kendrick who basically never cosigns people like that. There had to have been something to him

MORROWI mean he made bigger numbers than most artists nowadays, He was gonna be bigger than drake and that’s a fact, He one of the most streamed artists in Spotify and he couldn’t even expand his catalog to an extend that most artist have atm, Megastar wordlwide, Unlike drake who is mostly famous in the Us

you can stan X all you want i dont care what anybody listens too but his music wasn't as easy to digest as Drake's music for the masses and there's no way he would've consistently done Drake numbers for as long as Drake has

yeah and plus X was most associated with something he did outside of music and there literally has never been a discussion about him without that thing coming up. it was always going to hinder him

I do think he would've still worked on his craft and progressed even more had he not been killed so early on in life.
You just can't deny his numbers and how much of a rising musician he was becoming.

Jul 10, 2020X was definitely on his way to being a superstar. He had an it factor that Juice was, and our current super stars are, missing. X had massive controversy, stans, hits that crept into the mainstream but still sounded unique to him. I think he would’ve eventually dropped a huge single/album that would’ve cemented him as one of the biggest names in rap.
