    No it's dying.

Everything is segmented, fragmented. There is no monoculture to galvanize things on a grand scale, which is essential for film, television, music, etc.

without it, everyone just lives in their own bubble, curating their own lives and if everyone is doing that...how can new Hip-Hop acts break through? How can new actors break through? This is why non franchise films are in danger, and why no one goes to the movies anymore. This is why new artists flop all the damn time now, etc.

why is lack of monoculture a negative thing?

why is lack of monoculture a negative thing?

It's in the eye of the beholder.

It can obviously be a positive thing.

but monoculture is why the entertainment business has gotten this far is all that I'm saying and without it, new superstars are much harder to come by and the health of big entertainment is tied to superstars.

I told niggas this when this beef started. The fact yall wanted war so bad just shows how much yall actually don’t appreciate all the talent we have right now. Would yall rather have seen the literal ww3 of rap or the og’s teaming up like bron kd and Steph did on the Olympics for the greater good of the sport (hip hop)

But Jay z runs the world so idk man if this is the reality we want when the greatest rappers of our time are now all at odds, so be it. I guess them beefing gets more reactions then them linking up

There is not gonna be a nas and jay z friendship revival down the line. It’s all cooked, and Lucien has his grip on the next generation of artists that he’ll eventually put against each other when it’s getting boring

We sat here and watched A nigga receive 5 Grammys for a song that calls the most popular (arguably prolific but I’ll let yall give that to dot) rap artist of our time. All while every pedo weird ass music exec stood in the crowd cheering That’s why it’s dying. But yall loved that though it’s great for hip hop!!!

Gnx out now hey now hey now
