I’m playing kiwami 1. I was fighting majima and his goons with only 3 health juices left. Boy when I tell u I threw my bonnet so many times in frustration of losing. Then they offer “u wanna play on Easy?” like u coochie or something. The pure happiness that U receive from beating a boss on yakuza with little to no health refreshments is amazing

Man beginning of yakuza 5 got so much talking

Feeling like I been sitting here watching cutscenes for the last 20 minutes

I love Yakuza and really want to play 7 but I haven't beaten 5 or 6 yet. More importantly, it's coming out way too close to Miles Morales and Cyberpunk.

Isn't Yakuza 7 in a different city though? and its a completely new story. I'd say there would be easter eggs from previous games but its it's own story tbh. doubt youll get spoiled

I've started 5 as of yesterday and I don't plan on getting 7 day 1 since it's not coming out on PS5 this year.

I'd just play 5 and 6 before 7 tho personally just in case there's any story related stuff thrown in. Miles won't take long to beat at all, you'll def have down time in December and most of next year to get to 5 and 6 in terms of what's coming out.

I got this as well in my backlog and I can't seem to start since 5 is supposedly the lengthiest in series as far as I know. I played 3 and 4 almost back to back but I just needed a break. Let me know if it's cool

5 is one of the better ones. Certainly not on the lower end of the series imo.

Liking the combat in 5, being able to double stomp dudes after not being able to IN ANY OTHER GAME is extremely satisfying

All ever wanted to be able to do while dudes was still laid out on the ground.

Story got my interest so far, zoned out a bit in the beginning and don't really know who this Aoyoma fella is or why he doing what he doing since I zoned out when he came up
