almost finished LAD, put 0 on hold for a while because i wasn’t liking the battle system there, felt very clunky. hope now that i’m into the series i can get into 0 as well

Yakuza 0 is so f***ing good. I've been hooked on this game for 3 weeks straight, I'm about to finish my second play through on legend mode and i'm close to 100%ing the game but at this point i'm dying to play Kiwami. hope i love it as much as i been loving this game

I played these in a weird order. Played 1 a few years back on my PS4. Played 0 on my PS4 and 2 on my XB1 last year. Finished 7 and 3 this year on my Series X. Working on 4 rn... and then 5 and 6

Summer. I'd recommend playing Yakuza 0 first tho if you haven't. You can get that one for pretty cheap.

I literally only have the last dungeon to do on the LAD story but am kinda burnt out on it after trying to do as much side missions as possible was running around kamurocho trying to get some of the last sujimon too and honestly can't be bothered getting back into it

0 is a prequel telling the beginning of the story and will introduce you to a lot of the big characters that show up in Like a Dragon. Plus that game is the s***.

0 is one of the best games in the series.
I wouldn’t recommend it as essential to 7 because 0-6 aren’t needed for 7. The previous characters appearances in 7 aren’t such that you really need a background on them.
