Played zero when it released in the west (early 2017 i believe), and kiwami in 2018

i actually liked the turn based combat in LaD

I thought I would because I love turn based combat, but I just find it dull. It isn't a great battle system. Just too generic.

Zero is on sale for 4 bucks, thinking about buying and replaying a second walkthrough

absolutely. $4 is a steal and the substories are great, especially if you didn't do the cabaret/real estate activities.

Kiwami came out after 0 but mechanically is way worse

Late to the party but what's the overall consensus on Like A Dragon?? I just finished 6 main story and about to finish up substories and some other things before moving on

Aight I'm at Chapter 15 now and the story definitely picks up towards the latter half. It was a little slow in the beginning but I understand all that backstory was needed. This s*** lowkey got a deep and well written story tbh. So many twists
