i think $40 is a steal for that game (then again, it is free on game pass lol). would have 0 issues paying that much for like a dragon. whenever you do end up getting your hands on it, you won't be disappointed.
Yeah, i think i’m gonna bite next time it’s on sale for sure
Oh s*** they ending 3 like that?
Been putting off trying these for years. Started like a dragon and I am hooked
No you aren’t. You need to play the others before saying you’re hooked. Just one though. They’re all more alike. Like A Dragon is a big change from 0-6.

Ok never mind I hate yakuza
Lmao I was being serious.
Lol I get what you're saying I'll check em out after for sure. Is gameplay different? Really just think the story is the best I've seen in a video game that's been the main draw

Just 0-6 is beat em up, brawling style. 7(Like A Dragon) is turn based rpg style. Everything else as far as storytelling is the same. I just know some people were disappointed in the differing battle systems. Also 0-6 for the most part has recurring characters. The cast is all new in Like A Dragon. So you might like these guys and not the others.
My point is don’t get attached to this game alone because its not exactly like the others. I love it though. I’m glad they are keeping this battle system going forward.

Cool thanks. Always assumed Yakuza was an open combat system so I was surprised to see turn based combat. But it moves quick so I fw it
Gotta spend the next two months smashing my backlog to an extent. Would like to play this at launch.

you ever finish like a dragon?
you ever finish like a dragon?
I did. Actually about a few weeks ago. After being off of it for a while. Me and my girl finally wrapped it up. I was wanting her to play the first judgement before lost judgement comes out but she’s still tryna finish up DQXI.

thoughts on it? definitely think it's one of the best yakuza games. though i think the boss fights in the last stretch would've been way better with the combat from the previous games. doesn't feel like there's as much weight to it with it being turn based. definitely the most emotional game in the series as well imo. they really killed it with all the stuff in the end.
though the tendo, kiryu, sawashiro, and majima/saejima fights were sick as hell

I loved it bro. I can’t wait to see what they do with Ichiban going forward. You’re 100% right on the boss fights later on. The turn based system just made them time consuming at times and not necessarily like a big boss fight. Just dragged. It’s definitely one of my top 3 in the series for me.
Also out of all of those, I hated Kiryu’s the most lol

don't think anything will ever beat kuroiwa in judgment for me. that fight was perfect
think the random battles work out really well with the turn based system, but i wanna feel like i'm beating the s*** out of some crazy ass character. not dropping a satellite laser on them, then them getting up like it was nothing
i wasn't too sure how i was gonna feel on ichiban at first, but he's a fantastic character, and i think he's a really good replacement for kiryu as the main protagonist of the series.
