After my standard remastered collection came earlier this week I now have all 7 Localized games in Standard edition. Need 7 to drop.

just finished Chapter 6 of Yakuza 0 (my first Yakuza game) and omg was not expecting the feels during the Kiryu x Nishiki woods scene. that was some poignant s***, especially with that music. can’t wait to play these other games

why did they recycle almost everything

Even the car chase level

Both games even had almost the same cutscene when you fight at the ship and your kazuma support arrives

What are these games and how fun are they ?

Only played Yakuza 0 but from what I’ve read the other games are in the same vein. These are basically RPGs built around third person beat em up style combat and random encounters. got a lot of loveable characters and nice plots involving the seedy Japanese underground. pretty dope imo

After playing 0, Kiwami, 4 and 5 Over a year or two I was so hyped for 6 but by the time I started playing it couldn’t do another beat em up couldn’t get invested into but I’m hyped to try new combat in 7

God damn this one ain't age well at all

Would love for 0 to go on sale again next week. I’d buy it now for $20 but I saw it for $10 during the golden week sale.

Aight finished Yakuza 3, probably my least favorite thus far gameplay wise Kiryu felt mad weak beginning to middle of the game. All the blocking was aids, def go do those training missions and spam R1 + O

Story wise it was also weak to me until like Chapter 10 and things picked up. All the s*** with the kids or random go check on this and that just felt like padding and filler to make the game longer, s*** was mad annoying. Even by Yakuza standards felt like s*** got a bit too over the top at the end lmao.
