There’s something seriously wrong with Ichiban.

The jazz tracks in the series (particularly in 5) are really great. Posted a few of em in the JRPG thread a week or two ago.

I will say the combat is fun; I think it’s the fact that there is a lot of text and just walking segments toward the beginning that were killing it for me, but imma try it again this weekend , I feel like it’s down my alley

I think 0 is the best of 0-7, but 5 is up there for me. I know a decent amount of people aren't the biggest fan of 5, but I love it. Tons of variety and content. 0 has both of those and a better story (plus playable Majima), so it wins for me.

Judgment & Lost Judgment are still the best out of all of em though

5 is exhausting

Better gameplay (imo) & a much better story than the mainline series. You're doing yourself a disservice if you've played the Yakuza series and haven't played the Judgment games.

Question if I play 0,1K & 2K, can I skip 3-5 and play them later on so I can play 6 and the judgement series already, would the story still make sense?

Yeah, the stories are mostly self contained. Judgment is completely different, so you could play that whenever. 3 & 6 are the least interesting imo especially 6 with what they're doing with 8 now lol.
