dawgEven though it’s a remake, it’s wildly different from the regular yakuza games. First off it’s a one off story in an old period. Still uses the yakuza cast but it’s cool to spot everybody and how different they act.
Combat is pretty good. It’s not kamurocho and that feels fresh. Game is hard asf. Graphics are okay but they are better looking than yakuza 0-5. The loading between scenes is jarring though.
If you not playing any story focused game then it would be an instant cop for you.
S*** I love samurai’s I needed this
S*** feels more like a classic samurai film than a Yakuza game

Judgment and Lost Judgment are peak RGG story and combat. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Plus, I know you f\*\*\* with mysteries/detective stuff, so I think you'll be more than fine with it lol. Only real complaint I can get behind in the first game is the tailing mechanic, which isn't very good.
