This post is hilarious cause he used to be WAY WORSE
Y’all gotta remember these type of generalizations about artists are based on patterns found in their most crossover singles and nothing else
It’s 2024 man, the whole “Drake isn’t a rapper” shtick is so old and tired at this point
It really is. You really have to be a old old head to still arguing this point.
Mos is 110% right
I still have probably listened to enough drake to have his voice permanently penetrated my blood cells
And if Drake ends up getting at him niggas gonna be upset on here
I hope he goes at him maybe I get a new mos album out of it lol

It got old for a bit, I feel you. It’s a difficult subject honestly
But he didn’t say he’s not a rapper, just not hip hop.
I think a huge part of the equation that gets overlooked is that hip hop is american and it does have core tenants that we can point to.
I get not wanting to be a dusty purist but knowledge is still the 5th element. I love drake and his run is easily up there with the greats but it’s also really hard to even place him in “hip hop” as an “MC”. It feels kind of gross for some reason to even put him over someone like Chuck D or Jadakiss despite having a way better career, it does kind of feel like it’s become something else at this point
bro only made two classics outta three albums 😂😂 drake made ten classics 😂😂😂 shut up bro 😂😂😂😂😂

Yeah, Mos probably hasn't heard those Drake album cuts where he's talking about real s***. His exes, his possessions, his enemies, etc. It's Biblical
