Deku vs overhaul was alright but not close to the crazy amount of episodes dedicated to it

whoever said that s*** was capping, overhaul was some of the worst writing horikoshi has done for the entire series. the better parts of the show/manga include stain, the training camp (muscular), bakugo rescue (OfA versus AfO), ect.

gentle criminal wasnt bad either tbh. first fight deku did all on his own no help, hands down better than overhaul even if what deku did vs. overhaul was ""cooler""

The only thing AOT and BNHA have in common is that they're both published by Shounen Jump. The shows may both be ""shounen"" but they go in completely different directions.

Comparing Deku to Eren is so ??? because they're experiences are so wildly different, it's no wonder that Eren would develop when he has skipped time to become a whole ass adult and endured so much trauma along the way.

I don't think Deku is some godlike well written character or anything, he's anything but that, but pretending as if nothing has changed at all is crazy. We see his confidence develop in fights like the one with Stain, Muscular, Overhaul, and Gentle Criminal. Sure, yeah, it's some p**** s*** that he didn't punch Amajiki, but this guy is a high school first year. Again, not a grown ass man that went through trauma after trauma. Keep in mind, Deku hasn't actually lost much of anything.

Deku will likely never be on the same level as Eren simply because their motivations are so different even from the beginning, I don't even know where to begin to break this down.

It’s not about them being the same lol I pointed him out only as an example of a character that has actually gone through some level of development over the same relative period of time. Obviously, the storylines are completely different and I have no idea how long MHA will go on for but Deku has literally not developed at all in 5 seasons lmfao like even his powers have remained relatively the same and with AOT still freshly in my mind being that it just ended as this is starting up, The difference is too glaring for me not to point out and it’s because of shows like AOT that my standards are beginning to raise a bit in terms of what I can and can’t tolerate

This show is mid and copy of the regular shonen tropes from the gate like black clover and 7 deadly sins. People only liked it because anime was dying with no good shows out at the time. All my homies bought a volume just to piss on it.

I want smoke, I f***ing hate this lame ass show and the praise it gets and the money wasted on it which could’ve gone to actual Japanese production studios, and their under waged animators. It’s a shame shows like this and Demon Slayer get okayed for multiple seasons when it should’ve gotten axed from the first chapter. No disrespect to the Mangaka but dumb fans have made them feel alright to be mediocre when they should up their pen game, and I’m dead ass and been wanting to express this.
