I agree that the ending is awful but when a show has the best peaks in anime it’s an automatic top 5
S1-S3 is a clear 10/10 and S4 was an 8/10

NDL DOOMSpeaking for myself, I can't think of a time where my favorite character in a shonen was the protagonist. With that said, MHA is a relatively solid and inoffensive series, especially when you compare it to something like Fairy Tale and Black Clover. Yeah it's not trying to reinvent the wheel, but at least it isn't as garbage as those two series.
Seems like shonens after the big 3 seem to succeed in spite of the protagonist. Which makes sense since most of the main protagonists are just some successor to Ichigo, Luffy or Naruto

it can take top 10. It takes me a bit to remember which endings I like the most with a general all around amazing show. FMA, Eva, Steins Gate, Code Geass, and maybe something else take my top 5
