just making a comparison to Mike Dean fighting to keep HML whereas on JIK we get dumb moves like cutting Jesus Is Lord to a minute long song or taking out Up From The Ashes
I like up from the ashes but it didnt fit the album as anything other than an intro and i thibk every hour / selah was a better intro
And jesus is lord works and the length it is
The only thing i could think changing the album would be wake the dead in the middle and a bit more to everything we need
hold my liquor was a last minute addition - said by kanye on yeezus listening party
blood on the leaves was the first track of the album - confirmed by kanye on Zane Lowe
on sight was the last track kanye wrote - just because he decided last minute he didn't want blood on the leaves as the intro
there were various reports at the time kanye only wanted a 7 track album , than made it 9 and finally added hold my liquor and made it 10
why is the tracklist in a completely different order than ?
b**** ass acting like he's a smart guy ( you're probably half right tho , that sample s*** makes some sense )
Bro i agree with you but dont come for anti or i will type angry things at you
on sight, black skinhead and hold my liquor are all necessary
Really can't imagine yeezus without em
Something bout that beat just captures you
That’s how you knew it was gonna be something amazing
On Sight is literally my Alarm clock
It also got #1 on my most played song for spotify
On Sight
Ban
horrible take its a top 10 song in his discog
thats the beauty of differing opinions though
hence “on a phenomenal album”
it’s a great song, the rest of the album just happens to be better
Um wasnt the original Yeezus tracklist 14 tracks?
More curious about what those 4 tracks were

No no no
Awesome
Mayb talk to me
Mayb i am not home
Actually yeah like another user said talk to me is early im in it
I remember how vastly disappointed my 17 year old pleb self was when Yeezus wasn't Dark Fantasy pt. 2
Aged like wine, issa classic
On Sight really was the perfect opener.
That very first listen
S*** took me somewhere else when I first heard it
So if you check the back of the cd if features a different tracklist than the final one, and this tracklist actually makes some sense with a few ye interviews.
Kanye not wanting Hold My Liquor in it and Mike Dean convincing him.
Blood on the leaves being the first track of the project.
The project having 7 tracks something Kanye did later and already stated he wanted to do before with other projects.
The tracklist featured on the back of the cd is
1. Blood On The Leaves
2. I Am a God
3. Send It Up
4. New Slaves
5. I'm In It
6. Bound 2
7. Guilt Trip
29 minutes total
How do you feel the reception of the project would have been in this was the final tracklist ?
Personally I love On Sight and Hold my Liquor so much, it f***s me up.
And Black Skinhead is probably the most copycatted song of the last 10 years.
In regards to Black skinhead..
“That Time cover was just confirmation”
