I’ve been a massive Kanye fan for like ten years now. Part of me feels like it’s younger new fans coming in feeling like they missed out on previous crazy releases so if this one doesn’t live up to the hype they imagined up in their head they’re pissed

honestly I had high hopes for this album based on snippets and descriptions of songs and whatever but it is what it is

Yeah I'm just not listening. Haven't cared much for him since Yeezus. TLOP was mid. Then all the other social and political antics combined with more ass music just made me completely lose interest.

I like to listen to them and see what Kanye’s up to but never let it affect my album expectations

I did that recently with a bunch of other albums this year but when it’s an anticipated album it always gets the best of me. I got clb in my name and idek what that s*** will sound like. Even though I don’t stan artists, I gotta keep my expectations in check for everything
